WHO AM I?

I am a native Texan, born in Dallas and lived most of my life here.  I also wandered around the country calling Chicago, Boston, and Albuquerque home for a while. I received a B.A. in Art from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and a M.L.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I took a smorgasbord route around the country attending additional colleges in Santa Fe, Austin and Denton as well as a few other schools. I thought it was fun.

I have one child, an engineer in Michigan and a wonderful husband, an engineer in Dallas and three cats who are not engineers but might be that smart given enough time.

I have always been an artist from my earliest years but when I won a blue ribbon for an oil painting at the State Fair of Texas when I was ten, it sealed my fate.  Everything pushed me towards the life of an artist no matter what avenue I took. I have painted, sculpted, created, taught and learned much through the years. I am always experimenting, pushing the envelope and developing new ideas and directions. Welcome to my life.
